Digest the active energy of the day and transition towards rest.
Hatha yoga, a term synonymously used to describe a practice of postures has a deeper translation; ha = sun and tha = moon. The tradition of hatha yoga looks towards balancing these two dynamics, the active/ outward and the quiet/ inward.
In this evening class we’ll address these two qualities through breathing techniques, breath aligned asana, symmetrical and asymmetrical posture sequences, relaxation and meditation to unwind the tensions of the day and rebalance.
